The vision for Revco started when Mark was still a student and did extensive voluntary work for Street Traders, forming them into a legal entity and negotiated leases with council on their behalf of so they could erect shelters. Later Mark worked as a volunteer with various NGO before developing a passion for Franchising as an answer to Economic Development. Mark spent 4 years working for Steers and Spar H.O rolling out businesses and looking at various Economic models before officially starting Revco in 2001. Revco had done extensive LED work for the German Government (GTZ), The Cato Manor Development Association (CMDA), and the EThekwini Municipality and is currently actively involved in various LED Projects.
